E+FM产品在使用过程中会持续使用GPS定位服务，员工也可以选择关闭，GPS定位主要用于以下使用场景：1、在自动派单时，获取员工位置，来实现派给举例最近的员工。2、手工派单时，查询员工位置和距离，派给距离合适的员工。3、实现考勤的自动签到和签退。4、实现自动记录员工的在途工时。
GPS在后台持续运行，可以大大降低电池的寿命。
